Introduction

At Rivo, we build our minimalist photo filter app with the same ethos we apply to every feature: no bloat, no hidden tricks, and total respect for your privacy. We know your photos are personal, so we designed Rivo from the ground up to keep your data completely under your control, no strings attached.

This privacy policy explains exactly how we handle (or mostly, do not handle) your data when you use Rivo. Just like our app interface, we keep this policy clear and free of confusing legal jargon, so you know exactly where you stand.

Information We Do NOT Collect

We built Rivo to work without needing any of your personal information to deliver full functionality. We never collect, store, or share the following data:

• Personal identifiable information: No account creation is required to use any Rivo features, so we never ask for or store your name, email address, phone number, or any other personal identifiers
• Your photo content: All original and edited images remain exclusively on your device. We never transmit your photos to our servers, and we have no ability to view the content you edit with Rivo
• Detailed usage tracking: We do not track your individual editing habits, filter choices, or content preferences tied to your identity

Limited Anonymous Data We May Collect

To keep Rivo running smoothly and improve performance for all users, we may collect only fully anonymous, non-identifiable data in the following cases:

• Crash and error reports: If the app experiences a technical issue, we may receive an anonymous report with basic information about the error and your device type, to help us fix bugs quickly
• Aggregate performance metrics: We may collect anonymous, group-level data about how features are used overall, to help us prioritize updates and refine filter quality

You can opt out of all anonymous data collection at any time via the app's preference settings, with no impact on your ability to use all core Rivo features.

How We Use Your Data

Since we collect almost no data, our use of data is extremely limited:

• The small amount of anonymous error and performance data we collect is used exclusively to fix bugs, improve app stability, and refine our filter collection
• We never sell, rent, or share any data (anonymous or otherwise) with third parties for advertising, marketing, or any other commercial purposes
• We never use collected data to identify individual users or build profiles of specific app users

Third-Party Services

Rivo may be distributed via official app marketplaces, and may link to external services if you choose to share your edited photos directly from the app. Please note:

• Any data collected by the app store you download Rivo from is governed by the store's own privacy policy, which we do not control
• If you choose to share edited photos to third-party social platforms or storage services, any data you share will be governed by that platform's privacy policy

Your Control Over Your Data

Since all your content and data stays on your device, you retain full control at all times:

• You can view, edit, delete, or export your original and edited photos directly via your device storage or Rivo's built-in gallery at any time
• You can clear all local app cache and temporary data via your device settings at any time
• If you uninstall Rivo from your device, all local data associated with the app will be permanently removed from your device

Policy Updates

We may occasionally update this privacy policy as we add new features to Rivo or adjust our practices. Any updates will be posted within the app, and the effective date at the top of this page will be revised. Your continued use of Rivo after the updated effective date constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.

We will never make changes that reduce your privacy protections without clear, prominent notice for all users.
